    UKEVSE (UK Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) Trade Association, Technical Manager

    Myles Barker is an experienced technical specialist with a background in biofuels and renewable energy. He joined Cenex in 2011 and is involved in the delivery and project management of electric vehicle charging infrastructure installations and government grant applications throughout the Midlands (Plugged in Places). He is also helping manage installations of rapid and fast chargers in Cheltenham and Gloucester and for the London Borough of Hackney. After completing a PhD in Biochemistry, Myles studied as a post-doctorate in bio-hydrogen production from algae and went on to work for the Homegrown Cereals Authority as an Industrial Uses Manager promoting grain and oilseed use for biofuels and providing advice to DfT and the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership on biofuel policy development.
